Hi

I did some research on a business I would like to start, now, I am kind off stuck as I dont know how do I go about to register my business , cause I also understand that I must have a accounting officer. May you please explain to me ,what do I do first.

gaby - you can't register cc's anymore only pty ltd and you don't need to appoint an accounting officer/auditor when registering the company.

What kind of business do you want to start Gaby? Work from home or more formal? Geraldine may be able to help out here, but it is sometimes advisable not to register a formal company if you will be working alone and if the business is very small.e.g. home catering etc.

You can register a PTY and only need to appoint an accounting officer when you make over 1 Million rand annually.
