    Cricket Anyone...

I view business transactions like a game of cricket...

leave the wides... they will just get you out and expose you to undue risk

hit the 4's - they are a ride to Easy Street

The 6's - Every now and again a six comes along - a deal tailormade for you, to smash it outta the park and make a home run (or a bank run)

Hit the 1s and 2s- they are your bread and butter and keep your business sustainable

keep in the crease - dont be caught by a soft dismissal - eg do your taxes properly

Try not to mistime the ball - that will just get you caught - strategise and plan

In other words pick the balls you are going to hit and leave the rest, they dont matter in the big scheme of things.

Yep something like that but the only I dont think business should be like cricket is if someone comes to one of your employees and offers him a bribe for some product or for him to do something illegal ........... like they do in cricket
