[Question] Any registration requirements to start a Club?

I'm looking for any legal requirements, registrations, compliances etc to run a business social club. It won't be a non-profit organization, it will have paying members. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I'd wait for others to confirm, but my view is that if its a business for profit, then you would need to run and set it up as you would a sole prop / company / partnership. That would be the legal entity owning and running the club. Calling it a "club" in this case is not much more than its branding or trading name or perhaps its internal structure. The legal set up would be just like any other business. Thats in general terms. Specific requirements for a "business social" style venture, I can't say for sure. I doubt there are any, but it may depend on the services you end up trying to provide.

Thank you so much, BusFact. I've searched everywhere and I believe you are correct, there is nothing specifically different about having a Club style business if its for profit, than any other business for profit. Have an awesome day.

        Hi Ugogo,

You may want to look into a STOKVEL.

You can get more information from Wikipedia at THIS LINK

        Good Luck!
