    [Question] Norwegian sale?

We have just had an inquiry from a Norwegian asking about products on our online store. We have added Norway to our shipping destinations and have checked out the cost for international postage, registered and express delivery. Since we accept credit cards through payfast it looks like that will work.

My question is has anyone else sold physical products via a webstore to overseas customers, what are the things to watch out for?

We sell all over the world. Open a FNB account and transact via PayPal - works like a charm. Be very careful of quoting shipping up front - we've done ourselves in a couple of times. The other thing to look out for is fees - Paypal fees, FNB fees etc. I've never had a problem, we've shipped to the UK, Germany, Switzerland OZ, US, New Zealand. We use Bid Or Buy & Ebay and they both work exceedingly wel.

      Adrian,
Thanks for the advice, at the moment we sell through the webstore. Being paper products we haven't yet had a problem with shipping costs.
Now we have had our first order and it is from Norway, the shipping charge was more than the sale of the products.
I will look at paypal as we are already with FNB. When you sell overseas is it via ebay etc or through a webstore?
It is an unexpected move to sell overseas but welcome.
