I was listening to some hackers talking over a few brandy and cokes on the weekend, wasnt paying too much attention, but it sounds like it is a good idea that i cover my laptop camera when i am doing things on my desk which people who shouldnt be watching might see

To do that you'd have to do a lot more than just post text messages.

Disable the copy and paste function on pc's

My first thought was "understand the different forms of copyright notice", but I guess it's more complicated than that. What if you're taking the content off a site that has a very soft copyright notice, but the content was sourced from elsewhere in contravention of a more stringent copyright?

Maybe just stick to giving credit to your sources when it's not your own work?

Yes i understand. there was an article that said that before publishing one must take the author's consent which is quite hard online. Another question: Here it is quite risky to buy things online because people are really scared from hackers or people stealing their credit cards. what do u suggest as a method of protection?

Universities have systems to check if there is plagarising taking place which even highlights common phrases.
For credit cards just watch your credit card statement very carefully at least once a week. If there is funny transaction contact your bank to reverse them and get a new credit card

I suggest only use a recognised payment gateway and make sure it's via a secure connection (https: ). If the site you're shopping from is taking your credit card details directly, check them out very carefully first, or simply don't shop there.

According to Google one of the most common searches on the internet is a variety of phrases that translate to "how to make money online".

I find the fact that the solution that seems to come up most often is to sell people programs on how to make money online.
