How to know if you are the owner of a domain

Let me add - owning a domain is one thing, having total control is another. I've always viewed these as the key:
Having your details in the registrar's domain record is good stuff, but you only have total control of your domain when the nameserver(s) you're pointing to is under your control too.
If you have total control of your domain, i.e. your contact details are in the Admin / Tech section and you use someone else's DNS servers, then you can easily update the domain info to use another DNS server if the current host / ISP has problems.
So you don't even need the DNS servers, or know how to manage themGet superfast South African Hosting at WebHostingZoneComment
