Just out of curiousity what are you all finding in terms of attendance at local/regional/national tradeshows you are attending?

I've gone to a few in the last month or so that would have been packed a few years ago to find very few people. Probably the biggest change beyond attendance was that nothing is given away at most of these now.

Money isn't flowing as freely as it was a couple of years ago and budgets for all sorts of things have been tightened. Trade shows have become more about business and less about holidays paid by the business.

I don't think trade shows are dead, just less frivolous.
