    Pastel Xpress + Thunderbird + Win 10

    Hi.

Trying to send email through pastel in Windows 10. Says there is no email associated. Thunderbird is set as default. I even set outlook as default and no luck. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

I can't comment on Thunderbird, but with regards to Outlook, make sure you have installed the 32-bit version, not the 64-bit version.

Thanks. I did check that and reinstalled the 32 bit version, but still same issue. I am going to try an set Outlook to the default and see if I can just get that to work.

Hi BikerBob, we are using Thunderbird ver 128.11.Oesr (32-bit) with Pastel version 18 and it is working without a problem.

Hi. Thanks. It was working perfectly before I upgraded to Windows 10 from 7

I am using windows 10 as well. But then I installed Pastel on this platform. It definitely has something to do with the 32 bit vs 64 bit versions of the email programs. I had the issue when I upgraded my Thunderbird to a 64bit version, but after I uninstalled Thunderbird and downloaded the 32 bit version had no problem anymore. From what I understand you have done this already, which leave me a bit perplexed. You have no doubt also set your default email program to thunderbird?

Thanks. I finally managed to get it to work. All I had to do was in Thunderbird was to set it as the default mail. I was doing it in windows 10's default app settings
