    Good Day

Need some assistance with printing in Pastel Partner Version 19.3.4

    I need to
"Print Supporting Document" Only when ticked - and not print tax invoice copy as well (see attached pic)

My packing slip template is loaded as the supporting document, but i want to be able to print only that doc on demand, and not have multiple tax invoice copies printed with this.
Anyone know how to get around this?
Pastel settings are all based on wether the doc is updated, but our docs have changes throuout the day and need to be able to print on demand either the packing slip or the tax invoice.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

    Regards
    Martin

    Hi Martin

Go to Setup - Customer Documents. Go to the Invoice Tab. Select the user you want to change the settings for. In the What to Print box select the "Delivery Noate at entry, Tax invoice at Batching" option. This will then only print the Picking Slip. When you update the batch, it will print the tax invoice. It does mean you don't have the ability to print an invoice (normally) until you update the batch. If you wanted to print a tax invoice you would have to go to the Batch button at the bottom of the invoice screen, select print, reprint documents, and then select which invoice number(s) you want to print (Will probably read Copy Tax Invoice at that stage). Untick Supporting documents at that stage if you no longer need them. When you update the batch, it will ask if you want to print your outstanding documents - if you say yes, it will print the invoices for you. Not the prettiest solution, but the quickest to setup.

The other option is to change your picking slip template and save it as a custom form. (Edit invoice template and remove the price and total fields). When you print normally (without any of the setup changes above) you would then select the "use Custom Layout" checkbox and choose your Customised Picking slip template you have created. (No supporting document ticked).
