Company CC changing to (Pty) Ltd

Hi, i need some help please.

our company have changed from a cc to a (Pty) ltd last year. the director have taken on a partner as well.
i need to process in Pastel express from the cc banking account to the Pty banking account. payments/ transfers was made between the 2 banking accounts, how do i process these 2 banking accounts now in the new company (Pty) ltd.
our accountant said i cannot copy anything from the cc as it is a new entity, which i did. i only copied the debtor and supplier accounts with no amounts, is there a way to process customer balances to the pty. should it be done via the Opening Balance account? i have processed the (Pty) bank amounts to a loan account in the CC. do i just do journals thru the suspense account?

If your cc changed to a PTY then your accountant is incorrect. When a cc changes to a pty all that you actually do is change the name on the data file. If both bank accountants belong to and are in the name of the entity, than just add the 2nd account.

          hi

how do i clear out a Control account?
the Interior & Design control account should have a nil balance, but i had to previously re-install Pastel Express then this amount popped up again. so how do i now clear this old amount which should not be reflecting at all. all payments were made against the amount and the balance should be nil.
          please help me
