Export of Data from Pastel (2009) version to Excel

Hi Clever Peeps -

I have asked an accountant to export Customers and Suppliers data, bank and cash transactions and journals to Excel so I can upload the data into Quickbooks Desktop.

He seems strangely reluctant to try it, citing the age of the Pastel version as the problem. Frankly I think he's jes' plain scared.

Should he be scared or is it possible? Neville Bailey - this looks like one for you!

Even in Pastel 2009, there is the option to print any report to excel. There is also a file export utility which allows you to export the customer and supplier master files into a .csv format. You should be able to extract any of the information you need.
