Pastel - Error message: The account entered is the Customer Control Account and cannot be used ??!

Good day

I hope someone can assist: When posting Y-E journals (there is a balance on the Customer Control Account that needs to be credited) I get the following message:

The account entered is the Customer Control Account and cannot be used. To select an existing account press F5 or click on the icon on the field. To create a new account press F6.

This doesn't make sense, as there is a balance on that account...

I have tried to find and delete Accbtn files or open batches, there are none... also no recurring batches. I have also run "delete history" with no positive result.
