Hello,
I have a problem with a number of items in our inventory that have lost not only their history of activity, but also garbled the stock on hand.
For example, the item in the photos attached, shows no activity prior to May.
I can see they activity by doing the following: View > Customers > Analyse Sales > Sales by item > choose parameters
This proves that the history is not lost, but just hidden, with a complicated way of extracting the info.
What bugs me more, is my inability to do a correct stock take on these items, as the example shows.
Quantity on hand: 10
Inventory journals for the current period: -21
Actual stock on hand: 1
Should I add in +22, to get it to 1, inventory journal shows it as 1, but the edit inventory window shows I now have 32 in stock.
With stock take looming, these items are driving me crazy - as several of them are high value and have a big impact of the stock value.
Any advice to what I can do to rectify this?
I have tried data integrity > verify batch quantities.
This has fixed minor issues on a few items, but not the main ones.
