[Question] Pastel excel template

Hi,

Im looking for an excel invoice template to import into Template.

I exported the invoice from docs....converted from csv to excel....however, still gives me a message...No invoices processed.

I am using the csv Import/Export file layout....(Header & trailer)...I still cant upload....

Hi Lennie

We need to know what version of Pastel you are running (Partner / Xpress, and the build) to start to assist with your file layout issues. When you export the invoices as .csv, before you open it in excel, open the file in notepad. You will get a better idea of the layout required, as well as which fields need "" separators, and which ones don't. You need to watch out for items dropped due to leading zero's when opened in excel, as well as date formats, which are often converted in excel.

Hi Lennie,
I just developed a program for my friend who is migrating his current POS to pastel partner.
The program downloads invoice file (xls attachment) from outlook to a designated folder and then convert to CSV ready to be imported to pastel.
