    Customer Age Analysis

    Hi all

I just updated Pastel Express from V17 to V19
My "view customer balances" report brings up all accounts with NIL balances, even though I have NOT ticked the "print nil balances". Most of the customer accounts haven't even had transactions in them for the last 3 years.

Anyone know how I can get rid of the Nil balances on the report ( should be about 3 pages, but now is 30 Pages)

    Thanks so much

    Debbie

Try running the report with Print Zero Items ticked, then re-run without it ticked. If might not be updating your default files when running the report.
If you change your Customer Sequence from code to Description, does it now exclude the nils?
Try running it by code from AAA001 to DDD001 as an example - do you still get nil balance accounts? If not, keep adding to the End range till it shows nil balances again, so you can isolate the customer causing the issue.
Open the demo company and see if it does the same thing - if so, it might be a build / release issue, not a database issue.

Hi Kevin. Thanks so much for your response. I have tried ALL of the above, and same thing !! Still shows all nil balances.
I managed to get hold of Pastel support, and he had the same problem, so he has escalated it, and will let me know. Very frustrating I must admit

In Xpress, go into help - about - it will give you a build number, eg 19.1.4. I will test on that build and let you know if I get the same error.

          Hi Kevin

          My build number is 19.3.1

I really appreciate your help, as I am yet to hear from Sage about it

          Many thanks

I have loaded the same version - it is doing the same thing my side. Data that printed correctly in V18 is now showing all zero balance accounts in V19.3.1 You are going to have to wait for Sage to fix the error and do a build update / patch. It isn't a database issue on your data.
