Sage Pastel Partner -Process inventory count ERRORS

    Hi,

I always find this forum very helpful when it comes to Sage Pastel issues. I have encountered another issue and need some help please. I am processing count inventory and I would like to "import" a csv or txt file. I am familiar with importing and exporting a lot of data into pastel but for some reason I can not get the easy one right. I created an excel spreadsheet with Column A: inventory codes (as exported from pastel) Column B: the store ( with cell selected general 000), Column C the stock qty and Column D a single '. I saved the file in csv and txt format and when I do the import I get the following errors:

Item does not exist in item file
    the store does not exist
the store does not contain the inventory item
You do not have processing access to the store

I do not have any " in my codes. I am figuring one thing is wrong causing four errors per line

    PLEASE HELP ME.... GOING CRAZY!

Deon - Are you using Multistores?
If not your file should be itemcode, qty only
    If yes, Itemcode,Storecode,qty only
If you use serial number tracking, let me know - different format.
Create A B or A B C as per your description above, save as csv and import

Thank you Kevin, I ended up phoning pastel and the consultant sent me a csv file which I used to import stock quantities. Everything else I import and export works perfectly fine. Thank you for getting back to me.
