[Question] Editing the cash sale invoice on pastel xpress

    Hello Guys

I'm new here, but I have read some of the questions and answers on this forum and I have only one word "Impressed"

I am currently running Pastel xpress V17 and I have purchased a receipt printer. I have connected it up and its printing. The problem is that its printing a lot of information that I don't want on the invoice and wasting my paper.

How do I go about customizing the invoices printed from the receipt printer without affecting the invoices printed from the normal printer?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi
    Go to
    FILE
    PRINTER/FONTS SETUP
    CHOSE THE RECEIPTING TAB
    SELECT YOUR PRINTER
    OK
NB: DON'S SELECT 'COPY TO ALL DOCUMENTS OR COPY TO ALL TABS"

Thank you for your assistance Caren, but I already know how to do that. I'm looking for a interface like pastels forms designer to customize my receipts printed from receipt printer.

Does anyone else know if this is possible.

As Kevin said, although there is a little twist when editing this particular form file.

Once you have edited cslipi.eng, before saving the form, open your company folder in Windows and delete the file named FRMISLIP.ENZ. Then save cslipi.eng, which will be renamed to cslipi.enz. The FRMISLIP.ENZ file will then be recreated automatically. If you need to make further changes, first delete FRMISLIP.ENZ before saving cslipi.enz.
