    Pastel error after win 10 update

    Windows updated in the background and Pastel started giving error - "One or more companies have been removed through the operating system or from the company list. Pastel will not update the menu selection. Please reselect a company in the Open Company screen"

    To resolve the error :
    - go to C drive, into Pastel directory (Pastel19). Scroll down to "Reset19" file & execute.
    - Then clear Registry, clear Registration, & clear Companies. Then close.

    - Run Pastel & (re) register your package under "pastel Help (F1).

    After the above steps:

    1.1 Select Utility…Manage Server
    1.2 Select Locate Server
    1.3 Navigate to the C Drive folder

    If your companies have not populated:
    2.1 Select Add Company
    2.2 Navigate to the Company Paths Destination
    2.3 Go to 'open company' & re-register
