[Question] GRN missing

Hi
I am using Pastel Partner. A GRN was processed but when i want to link it to the invoice it is no longer there. Could it have been linked and then the invoice was deleted? I can't think of any other explanation. Is there a way to check on the Audit Trail?

I can think of 2 possible reasons. 1 is what you mentioned. It was linked and the invoice was deleted. 2 is that the GRN itself was deleted and now it is no longer visible for linking.

Through Pastel it is not easy to see what happened to it. Try the audit trail and see whether you can pick it up. Alternatively it will be visible in the history header and lines databases. Do you know how to query these databases in Excel?

Pleasure AnnJarvie.

The audit trail report gives you insight to all transactions processed to your GL. However it does not give you insight into transactions that was deleted before it went to GL, like for instance quotations, sales orders and purchase orders that do not yet have financial impact.

Did you run the Audit trail? Where you able to see the transaction that you are looking for?
