[Question] Sales journal import error-pastel express v18

    Hi,
When importing a .csv file into pastel(as a sales journal) I keep getting the following error message:
Line 1: Account blank or not found.
I actually did a sales journal(just one line) in pastel first and then exported it and converted it to csv to get the correct template(a great suggestion I found on this site). So, when I import this back to pastel it works....but, as soon as I amend anything to the file I get the above error message. Even if I copy the exact same line already in the csv file, I get this error message.
    Please help?

    Hi
If you upload your modified csv file, maybe I can assist.

I've had a quick look at the file and I see that, in column D (Account Number) you have 31.

Is that the correct customer code, or are there leading zeroes in the code, e.g. 0031?

If so, you need to insert the leading zeroes in the CSV file, by typing '0031 or '031 depending on the number of leading zeroes there are, and then save the file. Whenever you open a CSV file in Excel, it drops any leading zeroes.
