READ ONLY ATTRIBUTE

Hi.

My Name is Rodger and I have a problem that I have been struggling with for days now. No matter what I do, I cannot change the Read Only attribute in Pastel 17. I have granted permissions, unticked the box and done everything else I could find on the web, the tickbox will not change. Any help from the members would be appreciated.

Is it file permissions on the files inside the folder, or only the folder itself that seems to "remain" read only?

Create a new folder on the root of your c: drive - call it bob - then check its permissions - the folder will retain the read only attribute, even after you remove it. It is a windows issue, not a Pastel issue, and shouldn't be affecting your Pastel processing.
