[Question] Pastel Partner/Xpress password retrieval

Good day. Can anyone help with retrieving a Pastel password? I outsourced bookkeeping about 2 years ago and the clerk used an obscure password. She cannot remember the password and neither can I. I have a backup in an old version, maybe V14 and I have converted it to V18.2.1. I would really appreciate some help.

Hi Hilda,

If you have a backup prior to V14, I should be able to retrieve the password, assuming that the password was not changed since then.

Hi Neville. Thank you very much. Thank goodness the clerk was able to remember the password yesterday and I was able to get into the Pastel.
