    How do I reverse a consolidated entry in my cashbook, in Pastel Xpress V18?

    Firstly, you need to check which transactions made up the consolidated entry. View General Ledger - transactions - transaction audit trail. Pick the date and user and check the transaction report.
    Consolidated entries come about when you use the same reference for multiple transactions. To reverse them, raise the same entries, in the same side of the cashbook (Pmt or Rec) with the same reference, and a minus in front of the amount.
    You will then recapture them again in the cashbook, using different references to split the transaction.
