Pastel version on server is out of date

    Hi everyone.
Hope somebody can help me please. I recently bought a new laptop with OS windows 7 pro 64 bit. My old laptop was win 7 32 bit. I ran Pastel Xpress version 12 build 12.1.6 on the old laptop. I installed Xpress on the new laptop, using the original disc. When i restore my backupp i got a "status 22" error massage. I realise that my backup was from the 12.1.6 build and i thought the problem was that i want to restore to the original 12.1.1 build. I then upgrade the 12.1.1 build to 12.1.4 and the to 12.1.6. After the upgrade i tried to open Pastel and got the following error. "Server out of sync". "Pastel version on server is out of date". I tried reinstall but it did not work.

    Any advice please?

    Regards

How did you try to restore the backup on the new laptop?

If there is no pre-existing copy of the company, you cannot perform the restore function.

I would use Windows to unzip the backup file, then rename the resulting folder to remove the date/timestamp information, and then save the folder in the Xpress folder.

Finally, use the Add Company button to add the company to the menu.
