Pastel Express - Age Analysis - taking in data from way back

    Hi there

I recently took my Pastel off the stand alone computer and installed it onto a lap top. Since then each time I do an Age Analysis for both Debtors and Creditors, it sucks every Invoice, Payment and Jmnt from 2015 when we set up. I have ticked the "this year only box" but some Gremlin is over riding my instruction. It is driving me dilly.

    Anyone got any ideas

    Thanx in advance

    Hi Karen

Do you mean it is printing all the transactions for the customer? If so, untick the "Print Transactions" checkbox about half way down in your selection screen. If not, please provide a little more detail.

      Hi Kevin

Thank you for the reply. Yes it is printing all the transactions from 2015!. I export the months transactions to Xcel for a manual recon so I need to tick the "print transactions". To get to the current months transactions I sometimes have to go through 1000 lines before I get there.

It never did this before, so I can only think some glitch came in during the PC change.

If you tick the "Show OI Unmatched Only" checkbox it will take out all matched transactions - but if a payment was made in the current month and matched to current transactions, you won't see it on the AA.
From your explanation of what you need for recon purposes, would the OI history report not give you better information? View...Customers...Monthly/Periodic....Open Item History. You can select periods and transaction entry types, and whether the items are matched or not.
