[Question] Pastel Partner v18 CSV Imports

    Hi all,

I have just upgraded my PC and am now working in Windows 10 and Office 365.

I can no longer upload CSV's to pastel. I have a suspicion that it is related to using the newest version of Excel.

The CSV's are fine if I save them on my colleagues computer which runs Office 2010.

Is there a trick that I am unaware of?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Rob.

    Hi Rob,

Could you possibly attach the CSV file that you are trying to import so that I can try import it into Pastel and see whether I do have the same problem that you are currently facing.

I am using the same setup as you and do not have any problems when importing CSV's.

      Chris,

      File attached (hopefully)

I used to save as CSV (MS DOS) which I have used for this one but maybe now I need to be using comma delimited?

It's a major problem for me as I enter the majority of our orders this way or used to anyway!

        Hi Rob,

Try save it as a CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.csv) and send it through to me.

Unfortunately the file that you previously sent, once being converting from text to columns, the data was misplaced and not in an order that I could import into Pastel.
