    Pastel Partner - Purchase Orders

Can anyone tell me why Purchase orders in Pastel Partner only allow Items to be ordered at Weighted Average or Last purchased cost. This is unrealistic as suppliers NEVER charge a price at average cost and sometimes items are given at a special once off price which cause problems with Last purchase price as well. How do we select a "supllier price only" which can be altered it another once off price is charged?

You can insert whatever unit cost you want on a Purchase Order. The system will, however, by default insert the last cost for convenience sake, but you can easily override that cost.

Thank you for your response. That is how we are currently doing things. The problem is that we need to refer to a supplier price list every time which can take up a lot of time. It would be easier is Pastel gave an option to insert supplier price lists as the default price.
