Pastel Partner V17 fixed Assets opening balances

    Goodday
Please can someone advise why when I capture the take-one balances on fixed assets, (straight line depreciation), it distorts the monthly depreciation calculation. if I remove the last year take-on balances figure the calculation is perfect, immediately I enter a figure there the depreciation calculation is incorrect?
I am tearing my hair out.

I don't understand your post, because Pastel Partner V17 does not have Fixed Assets functionality.

The Fixed Assets module is only available in Pastel Evolution.

Yes you are quite right my apologies I should have been more specific. I am using The SDK module together with the Fixed Assets module in Evolution. So yes my problem is in Evolution when taking on the Take-on balances.
