    Pastel Partner V11 Error

    Morning Guys and Girls,

I've opened my Pastel Partner this morning without errors, done a few of my excel spreadsheets with pastel running in the background, next moment I receive a runtime error. Now I can't seem to get into Pastel, all I get is this runtime error. I've googled, I've changed my date format and still nothing. Is there anyone here that knows what is causing this or how I could fix it?

    RUNTIME ERROR: 2147217887 (80040e21)
    Multiple-Step Operation generated Errors

Edited to Add: This is also limited to only 1 Company - seems that the other companies are working

I have found the cause of the problem - a slip of the finger on the Date in a Cashbook Entry. Instead of 7/12/2017 it was entered 71/12/2017 and Pastel updated the Cashbook

Now just to find a way to fix the issue

If you have TeamViewer, I can log on and fix the date with my datafix utility.

Send me a PM or email to arrange a time.

And Pastel accepted it at data capture stage?

I find that strange as well.

I tried to replicate the finger mistake on my copy of Pastel, and I got an error message to say that I had entered an invalid date which Pastel rejected.

Yes It did! I normally get an error message, but this time it updated and Pastel crashed. I only noticed this when I wanted to file the Batch Printout.

I see you bodged the month as well.

Perhaps if you try just the day range error?
