Pastel Express 11 Won't Open After Windows 10 Creator Update

    Hi Everyone
After many attempts, Windows 10 Creator loaded itself as a Windows Update this weekend. This morning I am unable to open Pastel. I get a blank window where the company should be with an error message, and also a message showing that there was no default printer, which I have already sorted out.
Please help, as we cannot afford to pay someone to fix this.
    Thank You in advance.

    Try the following:

Click on Manage, then click on Manage Server, and browse to C:\Xpress11\Custom and select the Registration folder, and click on OK.

Hopefully that should fix the problem.

      Hi Neville.
I tried that but it doesn't do anything. I had something below the demo that showed CATI but it somehow disappeared. When it was still there it wouldn't do anything.

After you get to the first screenshot in post #3 above, what happens if you press the Close button?

Is your company listed in the File...Open screen?

If not, then close Pastel completely and browse to C:\Xpress11, right-click on XpressV11.exe and select Properties. Open the Compatibilty tab, and tick the option named "Run this program as an Administrator". Then repeat the steps I gave you earlier.

OK, go to Manage, and then click on Add Company and browse for your CAT1 company folder under C:\Xpress11.
