[Question] Pastel Forms - Packing Slips

Hi there, i need some help printing a packing slip - not sure if I am in right category (sorry I'm new)

I am working on the new Partner V17 which forms designers is much easier now.
I have modified the CSDOCSP's supporting document CSINDVSP to resemble a packing slip
My question is, is there a way to only print the supporting document on it's own?
As we only wish to print a packing slip on request and not together with a tax invoice.

Hope someone can suggest an alternate way.

    Regards
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

Go to Setup...Customers...Documents, and select the Invoice tab.

At the bottom right of the screen, where it says "What to Print", select the option "Delivery Note at Entry, Tax Invoice at Batching".

      Hi Neville
Hallelujah, been looking for this option.
Still have one issue though, having this option ticked means I cannot print a Tax invoice unless I batch - update - print - correct?'
As i wish to be able to print a packing slip on demand, then if all is good to print 2 copies of the tax invoice without having to update the invoice as there might be changes that needs to be made if the client is not happy with the final invoice or needs to add something.
      Any thoughts?

        Hi Martin,

In that case, I would rather select the option "Delivery Note and Tax Invoice at Entry", so that you can print either or both documents prior to batching.

If you only require the Packing Slip, tick the box "Print Supporting Document". The first printout will be the Packing Slip, and you will then get a prompt to print the Invoice, which you can cancel if you don't require it immediately.

Hi Neville, seems like it is not prompting me whether i would like to print and invoice or not.
Could it be a V.17 thing?
In my settings it shows Packing Slip and Tax Invoice at Entry - the wording shouldn't make a difference I gather - as my supporting document is called "Packing Slip"

Sorry, I just realized that I was testing the process using a PDF printer, so I got the prompt before the invoice printout.

Aija - well at least we got so far.
I will play around a bit, I'm sure there must be something that we are missing.
Thanks for the quick response though, if you do come across something let me know.
