Where can one obtain import template files for Pastel Xpress, specifically for customers and suppliers, customer and supplier invoices (no product items) and allocated bank statement transactions.
All the import CSV file layouts can be found in the Help documentation in Pastel. Do a search for "Import".
Thanks, sorry to say that didn't go well at all, so I just bumbled forth, and well, here you go. Paste your data into sheet one, write formulae or whatever to draw it into sheet two (don't change or move the headings and then Pastel should match them up, but this seems to be on a "if Pastel feels like it" basis, so good luck), and then paste sheet 2 as text into sheet 3 (or a new document) and save sheet 3 as CSV.
Pasting as text might change the dates to nn,nnn format and boolean fields to 0/1 and lop the leading zeroes off Pretoria postal codes and dialling codes ... and probably ID numbers of kids between 6 and 16 ... so check dates and things, and change boolean fields 1 to "TRUE" and 0 to "FALSE" before saving as CSV.
