    Pastel not sending e-mail

    You will have to check on the customer account. It will ask you to choose how to send documents. Print only, email only or print and email. Make sure that it is set on Email Only or Print and email. You will also have to add the customer email to the customer account, Pastel can't "pull" the info from your Outlook.

    Hi there,

    I struggle when i need to send an email out of pastel. This is the message:

    "cannot send e-mail. Please check the email address and/or your account setting.

    the e-mail address is valid, and i tried changing everything in the customer settings. I can not send a quotation or tax type report. Nothing. Please advice. Thank you in advance

        you need to set up outlook on your machine and also enter email details on the customer account it should work

          Outlook is set up & all email addresses are correct.
          I updated the Pastel build and it seems to be working now albeit not as it should. I can only email if outlook is closed. Go figure! But i am happy

            Hi

            Are windows updates affecting Pastel/ Payroll email interfaces.
            A client who ALWAYS emails payslips is now getting this error message
            "cannot send email, please check your settings"
            I have tried with outlook closed, and I have also uninstalled Payroll and reinstalled :-(
