[Question] Pastel 11, Windows 7 and workstations

    Hi everyone,

I've been going through the forum posts and haven't yet found my situation.

We've recently replaced our Pastel "server" from a Windows XP machine to a Windows 7 machine. I've done the following:
    • Installed Pastel on to the new server.
    • Restored the companies
    • Shared the Pastel 11 folder
    • Mapped drives to the clients and registered them on the server.

This work great and all the clients are able to work. Intermittently though the clients re-open Pastel and the server is there but the company is crossed out. We have to then remove and re-add the company to regain access.

Have I missed a step in the setup of the new server?

    Pastel Partner v11
    PSQL Workgroup v10
Windows 7 on the server and 2 of the client machines, the third machine has Windows 8.

    Thanks!

You have to reregister each client machine.
If you've already done so. PM me and we can setup AnyDesk session for free.

    Kind regards,

      Kind regards,
      Hi,
I see now you've re registered them. This is issue with pastel's client reading two servers and will have to be fixed in the registry.
PM me and I'll assist you quickly.
