    [Question] Pastel Database error - data loss/rebuild

    Hi everybody,

    I was hoping someone on this forum might be able to help me - I recently ran updated Pastel to Build 14.1.1, but now receive the following error message when trying to open one specific company:

    The rebuild of the data files was abnormally terminated and may have resulted in data loss. You will need to restore the backup made before starting the rebuild process. If you do not have a backup, please contact your nearest Pastel distributor.

    The problem now is that I cannot open the company at all, so cannot restore any backups. I have tried copying the company as well as creating a new company, but keep getting the same error message when restoring my backup.

    I have also tried the Rebuild Utility program, but it didn't make a difference at all.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I might be able to assist you, as I have encountered this situation before, and I have managed to fix it with my database editing software.
