    PASTEL PARTNER INTERSTORE DISCREPANCIES

    Goodday
I am having problems with my inventory. there are constant discrepancies happening with the quantities. I am using POS and I have noticed that I will invoice out a certain quantity through POS but in back office the quantity is different on the invoice, now I am also using interstore.... and have just noticed that I have transferred stock from store 001 to store 002 ..... and when I do a history, the journal is appearing in Store 001 going out but not appearing at all in Store 002.... and thus a stock discrepancy in store 002.
Can any one shed any light on what could be causing these inventory problems in my system. I have run integrity checks and there are no errors....

I suggest that you run the StockFix utility on your company, which will check for inconsistencies between activity and store totals and then fix them.

You can contact Pastel support directly (if you are a BCL subscriber) and they will send you the utility, together with the necessary credentials to activate it. Otherwise, I can assist you with the utility via TeamViewer next week (I am away for the "long weekend").

      Hi Mr Bailey

Thanks for your response.... the problem is I keep running the fixes and they fix the problem and a few days later back again. I was really hoping to find the root cause.... I am checking the network etc to see if this is where the problem lies. I am using a process of elimination and I will post back when I find out where the problem is stemming from.
