Is the licence for pastel express per machine (R4300 per web site), if I have 5 machines R21500

Firstly, you can only have a maximum of 3 user licences on Xpress. If you need more than 3 user licences, you need to purchase Partner.

Secondly, the cost of R4,300.00 is for a single-user, multi-company licence.

A 2-user Xpress system will cost R6,321.00 plus $43.32 for Pervasive.

A 3-user Xpress system will cost R7,780.00 plus $64.98 for Pervasive.

Once off.

You have the option to subscribe to the annual Business Care Licence, which will allow you to receive free upgrades as ad when they are released. It also gives you access to Pastel's telephonic help desk.

The multi-user package will only work if the computers are networked on a LAN. A standalone PC will require a separate single-user licence.
