    [Question] Invoice items excluding VAT

I want to invoice items at their VAT exclusive price in Pastel Xpress and not a price including VAT
The invoice should then add VAT on to the invoice total as a separate item

Please can someone advise if this is possible
    Thanks

Try going to Setup - Tax - General settings and tick the button for Exclusive on the Parameters tab.

        Yes, it is possible.

Your default settings are probably set to VAT inclusive processing for each customer. To change this, do the following:
        • Go to Setup...Customers...Control and then, under the Defaults tab, change the option under Tax Entry Method from Inclusive to Exclusive. This will ensure that any new customer accounts that you create will have the desired VAT processing setting.
        • Go to each customer account and, under the Processing tab, change the option under Tax from Inclusive to Exclusive.

          Thank you for this answer
I note however that no tax is added at all
So now the question is i still want to enter the sale excluding VAT but want VAT added at the end of the invoice ie it is a VATABLE sale but i want to capture the amount excluding VAT and then have PAstel automatically add VAT onto the invoice
Please could you let em know if this is possible

Have you selected a tax type code for each line item on the invoice?
