Asset or Expense advice needed

If a company has bought the following:
example
Kettle, cash box , key box and knives and forks, does that go to an expense account or to furniture and fitting as an asset.

Computer and printers would go to furniture and fitting.

Just cant work it out to day.

Personally, i would write it off as an expense, probably the same expense account i would use for staff teas

You can expense anything under R7000.
