    [Question] AFS Templates

    Hi Guys

    I have a small start-up practice.
    I need Annual Financial statement templates, preferable excel. Is it advisable to purchase the Annual Financial statements templates from the website: www.excel-skills.com.

    Please assist

    @Simbonile,

    I have also just started, and was facing the same problem

    I bought Draftworx. They allow you to pay the package off over 12 months. Very impressed with the program so far..

        I'm a stern believer in Caseware Working Papers. A bit expensive to buy at first, the annual licence renewal is not too bad but the benefits you reap by saving time and being up to date with all of the disclosure requirements is amazing. I started up in the beginning of this year and vowed to eat only dry bread if it meant having Caseware. You draft a set of financials in less than half an hour after passing your year-end journals.

          Thanks a lot, I've actually worked on CaseWare while I was serving articles but I'll see if I can afford it.

          Thanks guys

            Do take the trouble to look at Draftworx. Dellatjie made an excellent decision because it is really beyond good. I use Auditmate which is pretty fine too, as well as cost effective, but I am sure to supplement it with draftworx.

            Auditmate has a tax module that is indispensable to my needs, but it doesn't match the accounts preparation of draftworx.

              I have to say, for my needs, being purely accounting, Draftworx is more than sufficient, and I am very impressed so far by the simplicity of the program, compared to Caseware.

              I cannot raise an opinion on the audit-part or attorney trust template part thereof however, as I have never used or attempted to use it.
