[Question] Pastel Forms Designer trouble saving

Hi

I have Pastel Express v11. I have made some changes to a standard form in the Pastel Forms Designer, but when I try to safe the changes, it gives me a message "You are not allowed to save here. Please choose another location". I've tried saving in the ...Custom/Forms (where the original file is), but no. Also tried saving to the specific folder for this client (since the help file states that Pastel first look in the specific client folder and then goes to Custom / Forms), but still no.

I did make sure it was a valid file name (CQUOTSP.ENZ). Also tried CSDOCSP.ENZ.

Also checked if any of the pastel folders on the computer's C:drive is protected, but they are not.

Any ideas?

Nonetheless, it would seem to be a write permission issue.

Assuming the OS is Windows, right click the folder you're trying to write to, select the Security tab, and check the write permission setting for the profile you are using.
Please not that typically there are a number of user profiles - make sure you select the one you are using when trying to write the file.
