Pastel Partner 2009 - Emailing Statements and Copy invoices

Hello

I would like to know if it is at all possible to do the following:

To email statements and copy invoices simultaneously?

Our company already emails statements, which is wonderful.

However, every month we are inundated with requests for copy invoices.

Most of the time the customer only needs reassurance that the items bought, are in fact used by them.
They seldom need to see who signed for it.

These copy invoices are also simply emailed to the customer through Pastel.

Is there a way to send ALL of a customer's copy invoices, along with their statement, in one action?

This would save so much admin, and give all our customers peace of mind, without needing to pick up the phone.

The ideal solution is to have clickable links embedded for each invoice listed in the statement that enables them to download the wanted invoice off a server.
The invoice, in turn, similarly contains a clickable link to the scanned in, signed off POD.

Yes, this would be the best.
One of our suppliers works on this system, and it is very useful.

I don't suppose Pastel would manage something like that?

The cheapest quote I've had on something that does it now was over R200k (not a Pastel solution).

I suspect we aren't too far away from all the major accounting products offering similar functionality in their top line products. If you can, bite the bullet and wait a few years.

Hi Emile

You can't do this in Pastel Partner. In Pastel Evolution there is a facility to publish statements online and customer's can access their statements and copy invoices there.

There isn't really a work-around for this. I email clients invoices throughout the month as soon as an invoice is generated. That way they can check for themselves when they get their statements.
