Pastel Course or Training

I have always been into accounting and would like to further advance my skills and learn more about bookeeping and pastel as a package.

Is there any institution that you guys know where I can attend or get training.
If you do kindly provide me with their details.
Iam currently situated in Morningside Durban.

I attended a course run by Varsity College in Westville that was very good. I am sure that if you approach them they will be able to give you more info.

Hi Sthembie

many people now do the Pastel courses via correspondence. You can go directly to the Pastel Branch in Durban and purchase the study guide for Pastel and Bookkeeping. They will give you a code which will allow you to complete the test on any computer [if you don't have your own internet connection, you can use an internet cafe]. The study guide and exam fee will cost about R400. as opposed to paying R3,000 / R4,000. I found the real knowledge comes not from the courses as such but in practice, the course does however serve as a good foundation.
