    [Question] Invoicing American Company

    Hi

    My husband applied for a position with an American company providing remote IT support. Unfortunately the HR department is very wary of SA labour laws and therefore does not want to hire him directly.

    We are trying to think of a way that my husband could still take this amazing opportunity and wondered if he could set up his own company and then invoice the American company.

    What would be the tax implication for both him here in SA and for the American company?

    Any guidance would be appreciated.
