Sole Proprietor became Pty Ltd half way through year - how to do their taxes?

    Hi all,
Hope you can help. I have two clients who were sole props until June 2013 and then became Pty's in July 2014.
Do I submit their returns as just a Pty for that year? The one also is turning more than R1mill so must register them for VAT. They only just opened a bank account in Pty name although they registered in July - can I still submit the invoices they did from July or can it only be invoices that were paid into Pty named bank account?

    oh sorry I meant June 2013 and July 2013 - not 2014!

Firstly the company and its members are separate taxpayers, each with it's own income and tax thereon.

Secondly, the companies could only trade from their incorporation date, at the earliest (ignoring allowed pre-incorporation expenses).

The VAT application can be supported by all invoices, regardless of the bank account into which sales were deposited.
