[Question] PASTEL V11 - OPENING A COMPANY

Hi ,

I have a problem with my pastel.
I have taken a file from another computers pastel drive and pasted it onto my computers pastel drive.
I cant add it to my pastel. Why ?
I have opened the folder and realised that there are 2 backups in it. Theres 1 backup in the folder of that Company and when you open that one, theres another in there. Please help me.

I have a similar problem..it tells me that I have exceeded the number of companies...please help

Joanne021 :I suspect the extracted backup is incomplete. It looks if specific file exists to validate that its a valid company. You might want to try extracting the second backup perhaps.
Jayshreeb : You will need to upgrade in order to add more companies once you have exceeded the maximum amount of companies.

When you initially added the company to the external hard drive, your single-company limit was used at that stage.

If you then add another company to the package, it will regard it as a second company, even if it's a copy of the original company, because they are not in the same location.

You will need to contact Pastel for a Reset utility, in order to reset the system to what it was before you added the company on the external hard drive.
