    Employee costs - not salary amounts - where to allocate in GL

    Hello,
    Kindly let me know what GL account I should use (or create) for the following: an employee has passed away and the employer paid for the funeral. I don't think this must go to his salary account as I do not want to pay uif or sdl on it... Thanks

      I would say that it should go to Staff Welfare. Around 4520/000 - expenses.
