Pastel Express V11 - Customise input Screen

    Hi

I would like to know if it is possible to display a user defined field when inputting data in Customer (Quotes, sales orders and Invoices) screen?

    regards

After you have captured the first line item in the document, you will see a button named "Additional Fields" appear at the bottom of the form.

Click on the button, and then click on the "Setup Mode" button to customise which user-defined fields you wish to see, and what labels you want them to display.

Oops, I should have said that this feature is only available in Pastel Partner.

Ok, so does that mean I cannot display additional fields? or is there a workaround?

Unfortunately not in Xpress. The only workaround I can think of would be to use the Ship/Deliver and Freight Method fields at the top right of the form, and then use BIC (if you have it) to pull that data into a report.

Thanks for the help Neville - appreciate it, think I will use the unit field for abbreviation, and use form designer to print the fields on the documents - Boer maak n plan!
