[Question] CSV Template to Upload in Pastel Xpress Cash Book

Does anyone have a CSV template to upload bank transactions into Pastel Xpress Cash Book.

I am looking to do what Pastel Bank Manager achieves without the add on.

I want a template so that I can download my bank statement in CSV format and then transfer the data into the template and upload it into Pastel thus cutting out the manual data entry.

I have attached a PDF document that describes the CSV layout requirements, as well as a sample cashbook payments journal, in CSV format.

Thanks Neville. Do you use Pastel Bank Manager and if so would you recommend it. From what I understand you would have to pay for Pastel Cover every year as well as the once off purchase of Bank Manager.

Yes, I do use Bank Manager and I can highly recommend it, as rules can be set for the automatic account allocation (including VAT or not) of transactions with certain strings of characters in the reference.

You are quite correct regarding the requirement of Pastel Cover (for your entire Pastel setup, not only the Bank Manager module). I personally have an issue with this policy, but that's the way it is, I'm afraid.

Let me know if you would like me to send you a quote.
