Anyone operating in that way passing off that they are official Ran distributors are operating without authority. Well there is definately a company with quite a few branches called RAIN . Perhaps not the same product , but same name - my wife's favourite shop.

Correct, but the shop is called just Rain, so u might pick up problems selling another product with the same name.
